- deepen their understanding of the software and familiarize themselves with the latest updates
- harness the wealth of features available in Reflex WMS to drive the logistics performance of Rhenus Logistics’ clients.
Grenoble, March 16, 2022 – Reflex Logistics Solutions (Hardis Group), a leading provider of logistics execution software, announces that Rhenus Logistics France has opted for its Reflex Academy e-learning platform. Around 20 key users from the IT, process and design office teams are using the platform, which is available 24/7, to supplement their initial training on the Reflex WMS warehouse management system, becoming certified experts capable of implementing Reflex’s latest features without outside support.
Rethinking employee training
Rhenus Group is one of the leading global logistics service providers, developing innovative solutions for the entire supply chain. In France, Rhenus Logistics provides transport, warehousing and value-added services that fulfill the requirements of its clients across all sectors and industries.
Rhenus Logistics France has decided to move some of its training provision online, as it looks to harness the long-term benefits of the systems deployed across its 30-or-so logistics warehouses, and to get new hires quickly up to speed. “We’ve brought these plans forward on account of the Covid-19 crisis,” said Laurent Schuster, CEO, Rhenus Logistics France.
Continuous, independent learning for Reflex WMS users
The logistics service provider, a longstanding Reflex WMS client, decided to trial the Reflex Academy e-learning platform in early 2021. Following positive feedback from initial users, the firm opted to continue using the platform through to the end of the year. Reflex Academy is available 24/7, enabling employees from the IT, logistics process optimization and design office teams to build on their initial training and explore new Reflex WMS features at their own pace.
At the end of the program, learners take a test to make sure they have acquired the necessary knowledge and expertise. Those who pass the test receive a “Reflex diploma”.
“Reflex Academy supplements the in-person initial training,” added Schuster. “The program, which features a series of short modules, is constantly expanded and updated based on our feedback and the latest Reflex WMS updates. The platform also includes a knowledge base, so users can quickly access the modules they need with a simple keyword search. Thanks to Reflex Academy, our key users are becoming certified experts who can optimize the logistics performance of our sites independently and, crucially, put the latest Reflex WMS features to work for our clients.”
In the coming months, Rhenus Logistics plans to expand e-learning provision to its entire workforce, either via the Reflex Academy platform (which is currently reserved for key users only) or via its own learning management system. For instance, the company intends to roll out modules to get new hires and temporary staff quickly up to speed, as well as training for truck drivers on updated procedures.
