New e-commerce logistics processes, and enriched features offered in the e-Reflex collaborative portal, HGV ecotax management and new languages soon to be available: discover the new features of the Reflex suite for operational warehouse (WMS) and transport management (TMS).

From modules designed to improve supply chain management and productivity to new features relating to changes in the market (e-commerce process, multilingual interfaces) or to legislation (HGV ecotax management): all of these new features were presented at the SITL 2013 exhibition.

Reflex WMS: upgrades in response to market changes

Concerned with meeting the specific requirements of e-commerce logistics, Hardis is gradually adding new features to its warehouse management software package which are dedicated to this distribution channel:

  • Integration of transport flows: Reflex WMS now incorporates label management (printing and tracking) for the main e-commerce package carriers;
  • New sorting methods: the progressive sorting function enables large orders to be processed by batches while sorting on receipt helps to improve productivity in cross-docking mode and improve the management of return flows of goods.

Already available in several languages (French, English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Polish) to support its customers' international growth, Reflex WMS will be provided in Portuguese, Russian and Chinese by the end of 2013.

Finally, the e-Reflex collaborative portal has two new modules for the warehouse ecosystem:

  • The e-appointment module aims to make incoming flows smoother by enabling carriers and forwarding agents to book a time slot for delivery or collection;
  • The e-Delivery module speeds up the process for putting goods into stock by offering suppliers and forwarding agents the option of entering details of their deliveries on-line and printing their own parcel labels.

Reflex TMS: transport optimization is at the heart of the new developments

Reflex TMS also has a number of new features. One is HGV ecotax management, introducing an ecotax system for all French and foreign HGVs over 3.5 tonnes using the 15,000km of French taxed roads. Ecotax calculations and most economical route simulations will be incorporated into Reflex TMS by integrating data supplied by onboard computers, mapping and projected toll cost management. Reflex TMS also enables carriers to pass on the ecotax and loaders to pre-bill it.

At the same time, three new transport management modules dedicated are now available in Reflex TMS:

  • Business Intelligence for identifying savings opportunities and potential for improvement based on operational data.
  • Real-time supervision of the activity to track transport in progress, identify and correct problems and monitor performance indicators;
  • A tool for helping to design customizable reports.

Finally, Reflex TMS will now interface with Transics on-board computers using Web Services and use the xServer version of PTV maps, thus benefiting from the latest features proposed by these two Hardis Group partners.
